TERRESTRIALS
Ants, beetles, hoppers, cicadas are both a lot of fun to fish and provided some incredible action during the summer months. Hopper fishing is the favourite of many anglers as they can be twitched and teased along the surface and are often taken violently by hungry trout.
Beetles and ants provide a more subtle angling approach but are lethal patterns during warmer days. Catching an ant hatch in full operation often results in some of the greatest dry fly fishing one could hope for in the fly angling world.
